About twenty years ago, I started my career in hairdressing. I've always enjoyed art and love helping people. I appreciate seeing people happy and the joy that comes from creating something new for a client. My passion for curl has stemmed from my childhood, as I always personally struggled dealing with it. I love Ouidad curly cutting because it's free-form and about density and weight. I feel proud of what I do and love educating as well. This year I achieved one of my goals as an educator. Teaching stylists in the United Arab Emirates and Middle East was mind-blowing. I loved sharing my curly passion with world-renowned artists from all over the world! I hope to continually grow and am excited to be in an industry that is always changing! ❤️

Today, i tried the @ouidad haircut. For the past month or two, I've been feeling like my hair was in need of some extra love and refreshing. I have always had difficulty growing my hair and it certainly has never been this long before. Naturally, I do not like getting my haircut and I avoid it at all costs. Last year, I got my haircut in June and I had a pretty decent experience, so I figured I would take my previous positive experience and go in with an optimistic mind and heart. I am so glad that I did because I got to sit in Jasmine's chair. She was very nice, informative, and she made sure she knew exactly what I wanted before she got started. Once we had a chance to chat about what would be happening, she got to work. Jasmine is very gentle and soft-handed. She made sure to explain what she was using, how much she was using, and the method she used in applying it. I definitely felt at ease and informed throughout the entire process. If you have curly hair, you need@jazminjetrand you can find her at@edwardwadsworthin Portland.
