Hair was always important to me. Getting my hair cut by a well trained stylist in 1971 changed my life. If made me feel so amazing I wanted to be able to share that experience with others. I started work here in 1976 and bought the salon in 1990. We are here to bring beauty and joy to our guests. We do hair for fun and build people for a living. Thanks for checking us out. We are now showing each stylists work below their video. Let us know what you think. I am still actively doing haircutting and love to customize looks for our Guest's life styles.

I fell into hairstyling in my early 20’s when I realized that it was a perfect fit for my life. I love working with and serving people, thrive on creative energy and have always found great satisfaction working with my hands. I am blessed to work in a dynamic field full of fantastic people, and I am constantly learning and growing as a designer and a human being. I hope to continue being challenged, to grow and to be surrounded by others who share these passions, and to inspire and motivate the amazing people in my life to see their limitless potential and live life accordingly. Hair Design has always been a passion of mine. I started in high school, giving my friends haircuts and had many requests by girl friends to help them with their hair before a "Big Date". When my best friend enrolled in beauty school, I followed her into the same school four months later, and have never looked back. Massage Therapy became my other passion through the personal influence of Dr. Joy Isabelle. I truly believe the Massage Therapy that the guests of the salon receives, is an extension of her hands through my hands. I love being in a position where I can bring both aspects of my passions together. To combine Artistry of Hair with the Essentials of Massage has been a very rewarding aspect of my career. I will continue to build my personal education in both Hair Design and Massage Therapy to be able to do even more. And my ultimate goal is to be an educator for the next generation. This is a very energetic industry, and I am so excited for now, and for the future of it! See below for some of my gallery of work
I did hair as a hobby for years, before I realized it would be the best career choice for my life. I love working in an ever changing industry, where I am constantly growing. I draw inspiration from the beauty I see all around me, everyday. I feel grateful to have a creative outlet that makes the guest in my chair feel that beauty come alive within themselves. My hopes are to continue to grow my skills as a stylist, as I am motivated by the passions and incredible talent of those around me. See below for some of my gallery of work

I found my love for hair when I was in middle school and was experimenting on my friends. I enjoyed how giving my friends a new look boosted their self-confidence. After seventeen years of being in this industry that joy has not ceased. I still love the look of satisfaction that I see on a client's face when they look at themselves in the mirror with newly colored hair. Making people feel good about their appearance gives me great satisfaction. In the future I hope that I will become a mentor to up and coming artists in developing their communication skills so they can build long lasting interpersonal relationships with their clients, just as I have. I came to Edward Wadsworth as a client back in 2004 at the time I was working as a manager at Nordstrom. Coming in to Edward Wadsworth salon it was always a pleasant fun experience for me I loved coming in to this salon as a client. After leaving Nordstrom I found myself working for a local professional hair care company which allowed me to get introduced to the hair business, the more I saw it the more I wanted to get involved. Fast forward a few more years I decided to quite my job and dive into hair and follow my passion, I now look back and feel so blessed and happy to have landed such an amazing career at this salon, our team are the friendliest happy people and the clientele is out of this world. I thrive on positive energy and find ways to continually grow my knowledge to better service my clients. See below for some of my gallery of work
About 20 years ago I started my career in hairdressing. I've always enjoyed art and love helping people. I appreciate seeing people happy and the joy that comes from creating something new for a client. My passion for curl has stemmed from my childhood as I always personally struggled dealing w/ it. I love Ouidad curly cutting because it's free form and about density & weight. I feel proud of what I do & love educating as well. This year I achieved one of my goals as an educator. Teaching stylists in the United Arab Emerits/Middle East was mind blowing. Sharing my curly passion w/ world renouned artists from all over the world! I hope to continually grow and am excited to be in industry that is always changing!❤️ See below for some of my gallery of work

My decision to pursue a career in hair came as somewhat of an epiphany to me while surfing the internet; “I can totally see myself doing and loving this, let’s move to Portland and start all over!” I now love what I do and I love making each client the most beautiful version of themselves they can be. “This is a great industry, full off great people who make coming to work each day an artistic pleasure.” Come on in and let us together create a cut and color design that is a sensation!” See below for some of my gallery of work
I dreamt of being a stylist for a very long time, but my life took a different turn as I became a mother at a young age. I decided that my children would be my biggest accomplishment and put off becoming a stylist until a few years ago. I have since been blessed with the amazing opportunity to work with my team at Edward Wadsworth. The best part is I have taught my children that it's never too late to chase your dreams. I look forward to continuing to educate myself and serving our clients for many years to come. "Love what you do, and never work a day in your life. “ See below for some of my gallery of work
I decided to become a hair stylist when I was in high school after meeting my best friend’s mother who was a salon owner. She rocked Lucille Ball red hair, spiked as high as she could get it! It captivated my inner artist, and I knew the beauty industry was my calling!
I graduated from beauty school in 1998 and decided to work for a salon that provided an associate program to better hone my skills. Ongoing education has been an important part of my career, allowing me to keep up with new trends and techniques throughout the years.
In 2009, I began working in a REDKEN salon and have expanded my skills through continued education with REDKEN cutting, styling and color classes. In 2013, I was privileged to join the REDKEN team as an Educator. I have been very fortunate to have worked with some of the most influential artists in our industry and will carry my role as a REDKEN Artist moving forward; I am always excited to share my knowledge and experience.
I am very lucky to have two beautiful children and a loving husband! Our lives are very busy with sports, school and work. We love getting out of town when we have free time and try as often as we can to go camping and swimming.
Edward Wadsworth for Hair - RHONDA
Rhonda did Taylors hair color!
I found my passion in a hair a little over a year ago. I realized it is an art all on its own and I get to share with everyone else. I was able to find an apprenticeship program at Edward Wadsworth because I wanted my education to flourish. I'm into fun crazy color and pixie cuts. In my free time I love to paint and spend time with my family.
A friend of mine recommended that I interview with Edward Wadsworth for Hair. She claimed the people there were "the best she's ever worked with." I soon learned this truth for myself, along with adding "and the best people I've ever known." I love that my job is ever-changing. I started at the front desk and have since attained more responsibilities in management, training, sales, and am now part of the leadership team. I hope to continue helping the salon move forward in achieving it’s goals; creating happiness for our clientele and our staff.
I am honored to be a part of the Edward Wadsworth team; from the instant I started here everyone was warm welcoming and more than kind. I was looking for a fun, energetic, and supportive work environment and I got just that. I love coming in each day and having lovely conversations with each of our guests. I hope to continue here down the road, and grow as team and family with each and every person here.
Working at the front desk at Edward Wadsworth has been a great experience! I was told it was a great work environment, and it’s true! There is a real sense of family at the salon. I enjoy greeting guests with a smile and making sure they have a pleasant experience.
As one of the people you talk to when you call, or one of the first faces you see when you come in, I enjoy welcoming our guests to a wonderful salon experience. I am a artist and enjoy working with creative, talented people, watching them and seeing what they create with hair is truly amazing and inspiring. Having been a nail technician for seven years the salon environment feels like home. I'm thankful to be part of the EW family.
